I have been making firework displays since 2003. I learned the profession of making fireworks from the best Hungarian pyrotechnist, such as pyrotechnist of Mafilm (http://www.mafilm.hu/) who have more than 50 years experience in making fireworks. I graduated with a master's degree at the University of Eotvos as a chemist (1999) and in Budapest Technical University as Corrosion engineer (2005).
Pyrotechnic has been my hobby since my childhood but that time I made only 'fire line' from match head and sparker pieces. (My parents were not enthusiasted about this idea?) In my early 20's, during the military service, I became interested in pyrotechnic again. In the military we made e.g. fuse and exploder wire network. After the military service I was looking for Hungarian companies involved in building implosions and mining explosions. Unfortunately, I figured out that nobody instucts advanced explosives engineering in Hungary anymore. However, one day I happened to click on the website of OKTAV (www.oktav.hu) and saw their 1st pyrotechnist course. After finishing the first theoretical level I participated in 10 real "bang-bangs" as practice and after that I succesfully passed the final examination. I have established my own business as of 2005.
